Expand Your Reach: Driftscape Now Speaks Spanish

Spanish-speaking visitors use Driftscape's auto translation app feature

Some visitors miss the message. Here’s how to change that.

I’ve seen it time and time again: a beautifully curated self-guided tour packed with local stories, only available in English. In diverse destinations across Canada and the U.S., that’s a missed opportunity.

When visitors can’t access your content in their preferred language, they don’t just skip the story. They skip the experience.

Today, that changes. Spanish auto-translation is now live across Driftscape.

Why Spanish? Why now?

Spanish is among the most spoken languages in the U.S. and a top non-official language in Canada. Making your content available in Spanish increases access for international travellers and local communities alike.

One update. All your content ahora en español

Coverage: 100% of your English content (POIs, tours, listings, and captions) can be viewed in Spanish (and French) by default. No duplicate uploads, no reformatting, no second app.

How visitors use our auto translate app:

  • Per item: Switch any POI or tour to Spanish (or French) via the language dropdown.

  • Everywhere: Set the app to English, French, or Spanish in Settings to translate the entire UI and content.

How it’s powered Translations use Google Translate. Prefer a specific phrasing?  Edit any Spanish or French text in the CMS, your version overrides the automatic one.

How this helps your destination

  • Wider reach: Serve Spanish-speaking visitors and residents with content they can understand.

  • Faster access: No extra uploads or translation fees—just toggle and go.

  • Greater inclusivity: Make your experience welcoming for everyone.

  • More engagement: Views and dwell time increase when content is easy to access.

  • Time savings: Translation happens automatically; your workflow stays the same.
